The District Business Manager (DBM), Dermatology will report to the Regional Director, Dermatology, and be responsible for hiring, leading, developing, and retaining Dermatology Sales Representatives in an assigned district.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and measure outcomes of strategic business plans to meet sales objectives in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Meet or exceed district sales goals for designated products/product portfolio via direct management of sales representatives; provide regular performance updates to sales directors.
- Participate in face-to-face customer sales calls with representatives (average four days/week).
- Plan and execute district sales meetings; conduct routine performance evaluations; participate in company-sponsored events/meetings.
- Recruit, select, and train Sales Representatives; support coaching measures for immediate and sustained performance metric review.
- Lead/coaching and provide career development plans for representatives.
- Analyze sales data, performance, and trends; formulate and implement strategies to create demand and revenue.
- Monitor competitor activities/products; provide home-office progress updates; respond to district information requests.
- Identify marketplace opportunities; share best practices across the organization.
- Develop positive team norms aligned with culture, behaviors, and performance.
- Monitor/control district expenditures to meet budget requirements.
- Serve as liaison between district, field sales management, and other departments (HR, Marketing, Finance).
- Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key HCPs.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; Masterโ€™s degree/advanced certifications a plus (science/clinical focus preferred).
- 7+ years pharma/biopharma experience with 3+ years sales leadership/management; Dermatology market experience strongly preferred.
- Proven record hiring/coaching/developing/retaining/promoting top talent; ability to lead team performance.
- Integrity and success leading performance in complex markets.
- Strong payer environment knowledge (government programs, managed care, reimbursement challenges).
- Proven success building physician/key customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to partner/collaborate internally.
- Extensive travel; regular overnight travel may be required.
- District covers Ohio Valley market (Nashville, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh).
