The District Business Manager (DBM), Dermatology reports to the Regional Director, Dermatology. Responsible for hiring, leading, developing, and retaining Dermatology Sales Representatives in the assigned district, ensuring sales performance exceeds forecast and expectations while following all applicable compliance policies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and measure outcomes of strategic business plans to meet sales objectives.
- Meet or exceed sales goals for designated products/portfolio through direct management of sales representatives; provide performance updates to sales directors.
- Participate in face-to-face customer sales calls (average four days/week).
- Plan and execute district sales meetings; conduct routine performance evaluations; participate in company-sponsored events.
- Recruit, select, and train top-performing Sales Representatives; support coaching and performance metric review.
- Lead, coach, and provide career development plans.
- Analyze sales data/trends; formulate and implement strategies to drive product demand and revenue.
- Monitor competitor activities/products and provide progress updates; respond to district business information requests.
- Identify marketplace opportunities; share best practices and communicate across the organization.
- Develop team norms aligned to company behaviors and performance expectations.
- Monitor and control district expenditures to meet budget requirements.
- Serve as liaison between district sales management and other departments (HR, Marketing, Finance).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key HCPs.

Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; Masterโ€™s degree/advanced certifications a plus (science/clinical focus preferred).
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience; 3+ years sales leadership/management. Dermatology market experience strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership in hiring/coaching/developing/retaining top talent; ability to lead performance in complex markets.
- Demonstrated integrity as a District Sales Manager in complex systems.
- Strong payer environment knowledge (reimbursement and challenges across national/regional/local; government programs, managed care, evolving healthcare systems).
- Proven ability to build physician and key customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to partner/collaborate across internal departments.
- Ability to travel extensively (regular overnight travel may be required).
