District Business Manager (Oncology/Hematology), Southern CA
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of motivated sales professionals; create and articulate a district vision tied to organizational objectives.
- Analyze performance data, market trends, and market access dynamics; build strategic business plans.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of BMS Hematology products, marketplace, competitive products, and disease area; model and coach selling skills and product/disease state knowledge.
- Facilitate team growth and development based on needs, motivation, and business requirements.
- Create an environment of continuous learning; lead through change while meeting current and future business needs.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Qualifications/Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience (or related).
- Prior District Business Manager experience in Pharmaceutical Sales, or equivalent experience leading/managing high-performing teams.
- Track record inspiring/leading teams to meet/exceed goals.
- Track record selecting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Analytical skills, selling skills, business acumen, and working knowledge of market access environment.
- Qualified Driver requirements for company-provided vehicle (e.g., 21+ years old, valid license in good standing, acceptable driving risk level).
Preferred:
- Hematology experience, including understanding of Hematology reimbursement, access, and distribution environment.
