Role Summary
The District Business Manager (Cardiovascular) leads, coaches, and motivates a team of approximately 6โ10 TASs to drive adoption of the Cardiovascular portfolio and generate demand. This field-based role requires account planning, development of TASsโ core skills, and adoption of new digital capabilities to engage Health Care Providers and improve patient care.
Responsibilities
- Focused in-role coaching and development of TASs, including mentoring on competencies such as scientific agility, customer/commercial mindset, change agility, and teamwork/enterprise mindset. Conduct ride-alongs with TASs for key HCPs as needed.
- Own TAS learning journey and ensure continuous improvement in core skills and behavior (scientific agility, patient mindset, digital agility, analytical mindset).
- Champion adoption of new capabilities and tools (e.g., CE^3 analytics, content personalization). Coach TASs on leveraging CE^3 insights for call planning and preparation. Facilitate field-wide exchange of best practices and adoption of new ways of working.
- Execute strategic planning activities (promo program planning, budget planning, HCP-level tumor prioritization). Prioritize accounts and develop strategies for key accounts; lead district-level financial and program planning.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or related field.
- Prior experience as a District Business Manager in pharmaceutical sales or leading high-performing teams is strongly preferred.
- Pharma experience with understanding of reimbursement processes, access, and distribution environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to meet or exceed goals; proven ability to select, develop, and retain talent; strong analytical and business acumen.
- Experience with clinical and scientific engagement and knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain.

Education
- Educational background as listed in Qualifications (Bachelorโs degree or equivalent).
Additional Requirements
- Vehicle operation requirement: must meet Company-qualified driver criteria (age 21+, valid license, acceptable driving risk level).
- On-site/field-based role with travel as needed to visit customers/patients; ability to operate in a field environment.
