Position Summary:
Director, U.S. Oncology Marketing – GI, strategic leader driving commercial success of GI oncology brands across HCC, CRC, and UGI. Leads brand strategy development/execution, translating clinical data, market dynamics, and customer insights into actionable strategies that deliver growth and patient impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead integrated brand strategy across HCC, CRC, UGI aligned to portfolio/enterprise priorities.
- Translate clinical data, competitive dynamics, and customer insights into strategic direction and growth opportunities.
- Drive annual brand planning, long-range forecasting inputs, and lifecycle management.
- Identify opportunities/barriers across lines of therapy and tumor types; shape proactive responses.
- Oversee HCP (and where applicable patient) marketing strategy and omnichannel engagement.
- Ensure flawless execution of tactics through concept, approval, and deployment with agency/internal partners.
- Optimize programs using analytics/performance insights.
- Interpret primary/secondary market research; monitor competitive landscape and treatment shifts.
- Synthesize insights into recommendations influencing cross-functional decisions.
- Integrate and partner across Medical, Sales, Market Access, Regulatory, Commercial Ops, Analytics; lead governance forums.
- Build field partnerships; engage KOLs; represent GI franchise at congresses.
- Lead/mentor marketing team; provide coaching/oversight; drive engagement and cross-functional connectivity.

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 8–12+ years pharma/biotech marketing; significant oncology strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading brand strategy/execution in complex competitive markets.
- Strong oncology landscape knowledge (clinical data interpretation/treatment paradigms).
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence in a matrix.
- Strong analytics/strategy; executive communication/storytelling.
- Experience managing agency partners/vendors; hematology/oncology marketing experience.
- Familiarity with digital, omnichannel, customer-centric strategies; primary/secondary market research.
- Strong financial acumen/budget management.
