Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with HQ Value & Implementation (V&I) goals; define prioritized USMA Field strategy and implementation goals.
- Contribute to integrated US Country Medical Affairs Plan (CMAP), including US Field Medical Plan/Field Engagement Plan and Pulmonary Hypertension field training plan.
- Identify/prioritize US field resources, training needs, and activities; align adult learning content/training with GMVC; execute pre/post-congress training pull-through.
- Build a scientific engagement plan; ensure scientific exchange aligns with global scientific communications.
- Action insights from advisory boards/field activities with stakeholders; monitor trends impacting future strategy.
- Organize expert input events (e.g., advisory boards/forums) to address new indication implementation and emerging science.
- Manage programs (patient support, education, risk management) for safe/appropriate company medicine use.
- Orchestrate and deliver regional training with GSVC, CSEE, GCTO, GMSA Pulmonary Hypertension leads, and SMEs.
- Share best practices across USMA (including Health Systems); harmonize training standards/processes with DISE.
- Provide input to strategic congress priorities; monitor healthcare environment and emerging trends.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead US new-hire scientific onboarding; support consistent verbalization processes for new hires and tenured Regional Medical Scientific Directors.
- Support Pulmonary Hypertension Investigator Studies Program (ISP): Areas of Interest, dissemination, data highlights, training, scientific review.
Qualifications:
- Required: Advanced degree (MD/PhD/PharmD) in Pulmonary Hypertension; 5+ years medical affairs (or equivalent); 3+ years in Pulmonary Hypertension or highly relevant TA; strategic planning, execution leadership, emotional intelligence, strong partnerships/networking, agile change mindset, clear scientific communication, deep US healthcare/FDA/OIG compliance knowledge; travel up to 40%.
- Preferred: Field Medical Affairs experience; university teaching/adult learning; innovative training platforms; MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel; independent problem-solving and quick subject assimilation.
