Key Responsibilities:
- Drive clear, consistent, and compelling communications about the US business, raising awareness and understanding of priorities, performance milestones, and strategic direction.
- Lead communications support for priority external engagements (e.g., media interviews, speaking opportunities) and deliver end-to-end stakeholder communications for ad-hoc Business Communications initiatives.
- Shape and deploy the US President’s voice for US business positioning; provide senior messaging counsel to strengthen reputation with key external audiences.
- Own the President’s LinkedIn strategy end-to-end (content strategy, narrative direction, governance) to grow influence and deliver measurable impact.
- Define and execute the external US AI narrative (positioning, storytelling, announcements, thought leadership), leveraging key leader voices.
- Model and encourage responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve communications excellence, efficiency, and insight.
- Use AEO/GEO AI strategies to ensure accurate representation of US Business themes across AI-powered search/answer engines (discoverability, accuracy, authority across earned/owned comms).
- Monitor industry trends and emerging issues to identify opportunities for executive engagement and strategic messaging.
- Foster partnerships across Communications and Corporate Affairs stakeholders.
- Evaluate outcomes and performance using analytics to inform strategy, measure impact, optimize ROI, and manage budgets.

Essential Requirements:
- BA/BS required; advanced degree a plus.
- 15+ years’ experience in executive communications or related field; healthcare and/or pharmaceutical background required; tech/AI background a plus.
- External communications strategy and implementation with media relations experience.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and provide strategic counsel to top executives.
- Experience raising visibility of leadership (including social media).
- Experience developing and implementing integrated communications plans/projects aligned to business objectives.
- Ability to influence at senior levels and navigate complexity.

Benefits:
- Salary expected between $152,600 and $283,400/year; performance-based cash incentive; eligibility for annual equity awards (role-dependent); US comprehensive benefits (health, life, disability, 401(k) match, other benefits); generous time off (vacation, personal days, holidays, other leaves).
