Medical Affairs
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for national and regional opinion leaders (KOLs) influential to treatment of dermatologic conditions in the U.S.
- Serve as point of contact for commercial activities for national/regional KOLs per Executive Director, Professional Engagement alignment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure teams are aware of KOL-related activities.
- Lead KOL strategy and engagement plans to deliver advocacy with key opinion leaders.
- Identify national/regional thought leaders, including emerging leaders in dermatology.
- Compliantly capture and report meaningful insights to leadership and relevant cross-functional partners.
- Provide strategic, thoughtful, and compliant recommendations for advisory boards, speaker bureaus, and other commercially appropriate internal activities.
- Support recruiting efforts for national/regional KOLs and emerging leaders for meetings, training programs, and HQ interactions; manage logistics, discussion topics, and introductions.
- Serve as congress lead for KOL and emerging-leader engagement, ensuring coordination and execution aligned with brand strategy.
- Build customer awareness of Arcutis’ commitment to advancing dermatologic patient care.
- Represent Arcutis ethically and compliantly at society/congress and other relevant events.
- Expected travel: 50%–70% (including weekends).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (related field) and 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech.
- Preferred: >5 years in dermatology.
- Marketing and/or sales experience a plus; understanding of brand/franchise needs and relevant scientific/medical/policy matters.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong leadership.
- Strong relationship-building with HCPs/opinion leaders.
- Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment with integrity.
- Proven ability to build/manage relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, medical affairs, PR).
- Strong oral/written communication, judgment, and organizational/prioritization skills.
Location:
- Ideal candidate likely resides in a metropolitan city in Texas.
