Director/Associate Director, Thought Leader Engagement β Head & Neck Oncology
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the national thought leader engagement strategy for the pre-launch and potential launch of petosemtamab.
- Build and maintain relationships with Head & Neck Oncology KOLs, Medical Experts, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor the Head & Neck Oncology landscape and identify clinical/scientific/market trends affecting adoption of petosemtamab.
- Serve as a primary Genmab contact for key influencers in the Head & Neck Oncology community.
- Plan and execute thought leader engagement at major oncology/scientific congresses and conferences.
- Identify, recruit, train, and evaluate the petosemtamab speaker bureau per applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a KYSO customer experience through a coordinated βOne Genmabβ model across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
- Gather and synthesize thought leader insights to inform brand strategy, launch planning, and customer engagement.
- Establish processes for sharing field-generated insights with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Build cross-functional partnerships and facilitate alignment.
- Manage initiatives, priorities, timelines, agency partners, and budgets; ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years relevant pharmaceutical/biotech experience (Director) or 8+ years (Associate Director).
- Significant oncology experience in marketing, sales, account management, thought leader engagement, medical affairs, or other customer-facing roles.
- Proven relationship-building with KOLs/Medical Experts.
- Ability to translate customer/market insights into actionable strategy.
- Knowledge of oncology commercialization and customer engagement; roles of academic/community stakeholders.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
- Strong communication, presentation, and executive-influence skills.
- Understanding of legal/regulatory/compliance requirements for HCP engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel ~50%β60%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD, etc.).
- Direct Head & Neck Oncology experience (especially head and neck squamous cell carcinoma).
- Established Head & Neck Oncology KOL/Medical Expert relationships.
- Prior thought leader engagement/liaison/KOL engagement experience.
- Oncology launch/pre-launch experience.
- Experience with promotional speakers and external-expert programs (advisory boards, peer-to-peer education).
