Director/Associate Director, Thought Leader Engagement β Head & Neck Oncology
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead national thought leader engagement strategy for the pre-launch and potential launch of petosemtamab.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional Head & Neck Oncology KOLs, Medical Experts, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor the evolving Head & Neck Oncology landscape and identify trends affecting adoption of petosemtamab.
- Serve as a primary Genmab contact for leading KOLs, Medical Experts, and key influencers.
- Plan and execute thought leader engagement at major oncology/Head & Neck congresses, conferences, and key meetings.
- Identify, recruit, train, and evaluate members of the petosemtamab speaker bureau per applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a KYSO customer experience via a coordinated One Genmab approach across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
- Gather and synthesize insights to inform brand strategy, launch planning, and customer engagement.
- Share field-generated insights with cross-functional stakeholders and build cross-functional alignment.
- Lead initiatives and manage priorities, timelines, agency partners, and budgets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years relevant pharma/biotech experience (Director) or 8+ years (Associate Director).
- Significant oncology experience in marketing, sales, account management, thought leader engagement, medical affairs, or similar customer-facing roles.
- Proven relationship-building with KOLs/Medical Experts and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong oncology commercialization/customer engagement understanding.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-influence skills.
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory/compliance requirements for engagement with HCPs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel ~50β60%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD, etc.).
- Direct Head & Neck Oncology experience (esp. head and neck squamous cell carcinoma).
- Established KOL/Medical Expert relationships.
- Prior Thought Leader Engagement/KOL engagement experience.
- Oncology product launch/pre-launch experience and speaker/advisory/congress experience.
