Director/Associate Director, Thought Leader Engagement β Head & Neck Oncology
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead national thought leader engagement strategy for pre-launch and potential launch of petosemtamab.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional Head & Neck Oncology KOLs, Medical Experts, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor the Head & Neck Oncology landscape and identify clinical, scientific, and market trends impacting petosemtamab adoption.
- Serve as primary Genmab contact for key KOLs/Medical Experts/influencers.
- Plan and execute thought leader engagement at major oncology and Head & Neck scientific congresses and conferences.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate members of the petosemtamab speaker bureau per applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a KYSO customer experience via a coordinated One Genmab approach across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
- Gather and synthesize insights to inform brand strategy, launch planning, and customer engagement.
- Establish processes to share field-generated insights with cross-functional stakeholders; build cross-functional partnerships and alignment.
- Lead initiatives and manage priorities, timelines, agency partners, and budgets.
- Ensure activities follow Genmab policies and legal/regulatory/compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years (Director) or 8+ years (Associate Director) relevant pharma/biotech experience.
- Significant oncology experience in marketing, sales, account management, thought leader engagement, medical affairs, or other customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated KOL/Medical Expert relationship-building; ability to synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
- Understanding of oncology commercialization and customer engagement; academic/community stakeholder roles.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority; strong communication/presentation/relationship-management/executive-influence skills.
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory/compliance for engagement with healthcare professionals.
- Manage multiple priorities, programs, agency partners, timelines, and budgets in a fast-paced launch environment.
- Travel ~50%β60%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD, or related).
- Direct Head & Neck Oncology experience (incl. head and neck squamous cell carcinoma).
- Established Head & Neck KOL/Medical Expert relationships.
- Thought leader engagement/liaison/KOL engagement experience.
- Oncology launch/pre-launch experience.
- Experience with promotional speaker programs; advisory boards; peer-to-peer education; external-expert programs.
- Knowledge of Head & Neck treatment pathways, multidisciplinary care teams, referral networks, and care settings.
- Experience in high-growth/emerging biotech; Director-level leadership/mentoring.
