Director/Associate Director, Thought Leader Engagement β Head & Neck Oncology
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead national thought leader engagement strategy supporting pre-launch and potential launch of petosemtamab.
- Build and maintain relationships with national/regional Head & Neck Oncology KOLs, Medical Experts, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor the Head & Neck Oncology landscape and identify clinical/scientific/market trends impacting adoption of petosemtamab.
- Serve as a primary Genmab contact for key influencers in the Head & Neck Oncology community.
- Plan and execute thought leader engagement at major oncology/scientific congresses, conferences, and key meetings.
- Identify, recruit, train, and evaluate petosemtamab speaker bureau members per applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a KYSO customer experience via a coordinated One Genmab engagement model across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
- Gather and synthesize insights from thought leader interactions to inform brand strategy, launch planning, customer engagement, and execution.
- Establish processes for sharing field-generated insights with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives; manage priorities, timelines, agency partners, and budgets.
- Ensure activities comply with Genmab policies and applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years (Director) or 8+ years (Associate Director) relevant pharma/biotech experience.
- Significant oncology experience in marketing, sales, account management, thought leader engagement, medical affairs, or similar customer-facing role.
- Proven relationship-building with KOLs/Medical Experts/senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong oncology commercialization and customer engagement understanding.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
- Excellent communication/presentation/relationship-management/executive influence skills.
- Understanding of legal/regulatory/compliance requirements for commercial HCP engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, partners, timelines, and budgets in a fast-paced launch environment.
- Travel ~50%β60% (overnights/occasional weekends).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PharmD/PhD or similar).
- Direct Head & Neck Oncology (e.g., head and neck squamous cell carcinoma) experience.
- Established KOL/Medical Expert relationships.
- Thought leader engagement/liaison/KOL engagement or comparable field-based marketing experience.
- Oncology launch/pre-launch experience.
- Experience developing/training promotional speakers; advisory boards; congress/peer-to-peer education.
- Knowledge of Head & Neck treatment pathways, care teams, referral networks.
- High-growth/emerging biotech experience.
