The Director/AD of Thought Leader Engagement is a field-based marketing role responsible for developing and leading strategic engagement with Gynecologic Oncology (Gyn/Onc) Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Medical Experts (MEs) across the United States. The role supports the launch of Rina-S (rinatabart sesutecan) by generating strategic insights that inform brand strategy, launch readiness, and long-term customer engagement planning. Reports to the Head of Thought Leader Engagement β Gyn/Onc and partners with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to execute thought leader engagement strategies. Key expectation: deliver a KYSO (Knock Your Socks Off) customer experience through a coordinated One Genmab engagement model.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the national thought leader engagement strategy for Rina-S.
- Build and maintain relationships with national/regional Gyn/Onc KOLs.
- Identify trends impacting Rina-S adoption.
- Serve as a primary Genmab contact for KOLs/MEs/influencers.
- Lead planning for thought leader engagement at major oncology congresses.
- Identify, train, and evaluate the Rina-S speaker bureau.
- Deliver KYSO via coordinated One Genmab approach across functions.
- Provide strategic insights to inform brand strategy and launch planning.
- Build cross-functional partnerships.
- Manage engagement initiatives, timelines, and budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required; masterβs preferred.
- 10+ years oncology sales/marketing/medical affairs/account management required (8+ years for Associate Director).
- Strongly preferred: 5+ years direct Gyn/Onc thought leader engagement or people leadership (AD if not met).
- Preferred: demonstrated national/regional Gyn/Onc KOL relationships.
- Strong understanding of gynecologic oncology treatment landscape.
- Oncology launch experience strongly preferred.
- Strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, excellent communication/presentation.
- Travel: 2β3 nights/week domestically (occasional weekends).
