Role: Director of Strategic Account Management (regionally aligned to Northwest/Southwest major oncology accounts)

How you will contribute
- Develop and execute account-level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts.
- Identify key GPO stakeholders and contacts across internal/external functions and management levels.
- Lead (as applicable/approved) cross-functional partner activities within targeted accounts; guide opportunities for company-wide and franchise-specific initiatives.
- Gather and demonstrate understanding of integrated customer accounts, business models, financial dynamics, market trends, competitive strategies, healthcare policy, and Takeda strategies/processes.
- Assess assigned regional/national oncology GPO clients; identify new customers/organizations and build relationships with leadership.
- Position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner for current/future portfolio initiatives.

Accountabilities
- Partner with internal matrix teams to deliver company priorities.
- Build long-term relationships with healthcare population-based decision makers.
- Develop strategy/plans for product/portfolio growth of key strategic accounts.
- Streamline engagements, identify opportunities, and maximize resources.
- Maintain deep credibility via in-depth account/industry understanding.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and drive matrix collaboration across engagement lifecycle.
- Maintain fluency of Takeda Oncology portfolio; mentor individuals developing into Access Account Management.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business/Management/Marketing or related) + 10+ years industry experience.
- PharmD or MBA preferred.
- 2+ years Oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts (in-office and medically integrated dispensing).
- 2+ years prior Oncology Field Sales leadership experience in a matrix environment.
- 3+ years oncology account management knowledge (access influencers, community oncology).
- Strong customer orientation, networking, and account management expertise; ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate trends/channel dynamics into access programs.

Travel Expectations
- 70% travel.
