About the Role
- Director of Strategic Account Management, regionally aligned to the Northwest/Southwest Region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, North New Mexico) major oncology accounts (with national account reach).

How you will contribute
- Develop and execute account-level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts.
- Identify contacts and understand key GPO stakeholders across functions and management levels.
- Lead cross-functional activities within targeted accounts (as applicable/approved) and provide guidance on company-wide/franchise opportunities.
- Proactively gather and demonstrate understanding of integrated customer accounts, business models, financial dynamics, marketplace trends, competition, healthcare policy, and Takeda strategies/processes.
- Assess key assigned regional/national oncology GPO clients; identify new organizations and build relationships with leadership.
- Engage customers to position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner for current/future portfolio initiatives.

Accountabilities
- Work with internal matrix partners to deliver company initiatives.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare population-based decision makers.
- Develop strategy and plan for product/portfolio growth of key strategic accounts.
- Streamline engagements, identify opportunities, and maximize resources.
- Build credibility via in-depth knowledge of accounts, organization, external environment, and industry.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
- Drive collaboration with matrix partners throughout engagement lifecycle.
- Maintain full fluency of the Takeda Oncology portfolio.
- Mentor individuals moving into Access Account Management.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business/Management/Marketing or related) + 10+ years industry experience.
- PharmD or MBA preferred.
- 2+ years oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO account experience with in-office/medically integrated dispensing.
- 2+ years oncology field sales leader experience in a matrix environment.
- 3+ years oncology account management knowledge of marketplace, access influencers, and community oncology.
- Strong customer orientation, account management expertise, networking skills; value/access B2B experience desired.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate trends/channel dynamics into impactful access programs.

Travel Expectations
- 70% travel.
