Director of Strategic Account Management (Regionally aligned to Northwest/Southwest major oncology accounts)

How you will contribute
- Develop and execute account-level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts based on commercial goals.
- Identify key GPO stakeholders and contacts across functions and management levels.
- Lead cross-functional partner activities within targeted accounts (as applicable/approved) and provide guidance on franchise/company-wide opportunities.
- Use proactive methods to understand integrated customer accounts, business models, financial dynamics, marketplace trends, competitive strategies, healthcare policy, and Takeda strategies/processes.
- Assess assigned GPO clients; identify new organizations that could impact Takeda business and build relationships with leadership.
- Position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner for current/future portfolio initiatives.

Accountabilities
- Work with internal matrix partners to deliver initiatives.
- Build long-term relationships with healthcare population-based decision makers.
- Develop strategy and plan for product/portfolio growth.
- Streamline engagements and maximize resources; identify partnership opportunities.
- Maintain full fluency of Takeda Oncology portfolio; mentor individuals toward Access Account Management.

Basic requirements/qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (Business/Management/Marketing or related) + 10+ years industry experience.
- PharmD or MBA preferred.
- 2+ years Oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts with in-office/medically integrated dispensing.
- 2+ years Oncology Field Sales leadership in matrix environments.
- 3+ years oncology account management knowledge (marketplace, access influencers, community oncology).
- Strong customer orientation, networking, and ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate trends/channel dynamics into access programs.

Travel expectations: 70%.
