Position Summary
Director - Scientific Engagement is responsible for developing and executing the scientific content strategy that supports the launch and commercialization of new products across the Caris precision oncology portfolio. Creates scientifically accurate, clinically relevant, and commercially aligned content for emerging technologies, molecular profiling, AI-driven insights, and diagnostic solutions. Serves as medical marketing representative on cross-functional product development and launch teams.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute scientific content strategies aligned to corporate objectives, product strategy, and commercial priorities.
- Lead medical marketing on product development and launch teams from concept through commercialization.
- Create evidence-based content (launch messaging, clinical summaries, mechanism of action materials, competitive positioning, presentations, educational resources, customer collateral, FAQs, objection handling, digital content).
- Translate complex scientific/clinical/technical information for healthcare providers, lab professionals, commercial teams, and stakeholders.
- Partner across Medical Affairs, R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, and Commercial teams to ensure messaging reflects current evidence and priorities.
- Support launch readiness (messaging guides, sales enablement, educational resources, field training).
- Monitor clinical evidence, publications, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform positioning.
- Oversee development, review, governance, and lifecycle management of scientific marketing content.
- Collaborate with Regulatory/Legal/Medical Affairs for accuracy, substantiation, and compliance.
- Maintain documentation for scientific claims, approvals, and references.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen communications based on new evidence and insights.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in molecular biology, genetics, oncology, life sciences, or related.
- 7+ years in molecular diagnostics, biotech/pharma/oncology-focused medical marketing, scientific communications, product marketing, Medical Affairs, or related.
- Experience supporting new product launches and developing scientific content in life sciences/diagnostics/biotech.
- Strong knowledge of genomics, tumor biology, precision oncology, and clinical molecular diagnostics.
- Exceptional scientific writing/communication/presentation/storytelling.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration (Medical Affairs, Product Management, R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial).
- Strong project management; ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Caris technologies/precision oncology/molecular diagnostics (preferred).
