Responsibilities:
- Serve as key interface/point of contact with R&D for review and assessment of functional resource strategies, including assessing available resources vs. requirements and confirming resource plans with functional leadership
- Work with partners to ensure Target, Project, and Program assumptions are current and resource utilization is optimized
- Design, develop, implement, and update algorithms in the Resource Management (RM) tool for resource demand forecasts
- Direct other resource managers (RMs) assigned to additional functional areas to ensure cross-functional consistency for resource and headcount management
- Support capacity management, including annual headcount planning and data quality for quarterly budget reforecast activities
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc resource reports (forecasted demand, capacity, gap analyses, and FTE planned vs. actuals) to support decision-making
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Resource Management for targets, assets, programs, and studies
- Provide leadership and operational support for resource management processes (active resource management, capacity planning, strategic workforce planning)
- Liaise with Data Analytics (DA) to design reporting, trends, metrics/analytics, and functional/portfolio resourcing benchmarks
- Conduct portfolio/program scenario analyses and model impacts of assumption changes on resource estimates
- Proactively identify and communicate resource gaps, issues, and risks; support resolution of resource/capacity conflicts

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree required
- 12+ yearsโ€™ experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical/CRO (Research, Early and Late Development)
- Solid understanding of drug discovery and development process, emphasizing preclinical development, translational medicine, and early development for biological molecules
- Expert with Planisware for project planning and resource forecasting, including design/development/implementation of algorithms
- Extensive experience with business-facing resource management reporting in R&D
- Ability to travel up to 20%
