Role Summary
Director, Knowledge & Literacy Lead to drive enterprise-wide flow of AI insights across Johnson & Johnson. Responsible for curating, contextualizing, and disseminating AI knowledge to inform strategic decision-making and accelerate adoption across R&D. Focus areas include knowledge architecture, strategic insight development, and internal storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Executive Insight Development: Partner with the Chief Data Science Officer to develop executive briefings, strategic overviews, and thought leadership materials synthesizing AI trends for R&D.
- AI Intelligence Translation: Monitor global AI advancements and translate developments into strategic insights for senior R&D leaders.
- Internal Innovation Storytelling: Collaborate with DSDH teams to identify and amplify internal AI tool success stories, highlighting their value to R&D.
- Knowledge Architecture & Dissemination: Design and evolve a knowledge-sharing framework for timely, structured, scalable access to AI insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage scientific, technical, and business stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and deliver high-value content supporting AI literacy and adoption.
- Innovation in Communication: Use digital platforms and formats (e.g., dashboards, visual storytelling, microlearning) to broaden reach of AI insights.
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant scientific, technical, or data science discipline.
- Minimum 8 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences, with at least 3 years in a strategic/consulting/executive advisory capacity.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, and their application in R&D.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills with experience developing executive-level presentations and strategic narratives.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with data science, digital health, and R&D teams.
- Experience with knowledge management systems, digital communication tools, and insight dissemination platforms.
