Primary responsibilities:
- Drive strategic business initiatives through planning, development, and implementation of public relations programs and external messaging.
- Translate strategic priorities into impactful messaging; guide public voice and corporate brand identity.
- Lead development of PR strategy, operating plans, budget, execution of the PR program, and manage the external PR firm.
Individual responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a public relations strategy to maximize company milestones and long-term value creation.
- Create communication plans for internal leadership and external audiences to ensure consistent messaging of the value proposition.
- Work cross-functionally with Medical, Pre-Commercial, IR, and HR to ensure consistent and accurate external messaging.
- Monitor communications performance using data and analytics; report metrics and recommend improvements.
- Manage digital presence, including social media and corporate website.
- Maintain and update internal brand assets, templates, and presentation materials.
- Write, edit, and develop high-impact content for internal and external audiences.
- Create audience-specific resources (toolkits, talking points, Q&As).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align PR activities with marketing campaigns and medical communication activities.
- Manage PR agency relationships to ensure deliverables meet strategic objectives and align with brand priorities.
- Create quarterly media reports with performance and coverage metrics and opportunities for improvement.
- Track results of PR campaigns and events; optimize future strategies.
- Continually refine PR strategies to support evolving corporate goals and product innovations.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in PR/communications (in-depth pharmaceutical/biotech/life science industry experience required).
