Purpose
- Responsible for overall program and project management governance and oversight across ME&C (Manufacturing Engineering & Contracting).
- Drive standardization and alignment across PM organizations (site and global ME&C) and oversee assigned manufacturing programs.
- As this is a new position, design and implement governance and project management processes.
Responsibilities
- Define and roll out project governance and prioritization processes across cross-functional teams and ME&C sites.
- Define and roll out standard templates and tools for the ME&C PM organization.
- Develop and report metrics and dashboards to track program/project progress.
- Establish and manage the ME&C Program Management COP.
- Lead and direct cross-functional teams to implement complex programs (strategy, execution, budget).
- Ensure effective communication to internal teams and senior leader stakeholders.
- Develop and coordinate global and site-based PM training.
- Manage ME&C Strategy team communication tools (Teams, SharePoint).
- Communicate program requirements, priorities, and decisions.
- Manage and ensure successful implementation of programs for a staff of 1–3.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Science or Engineering; MBA or Ph.D preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GMP Manufacturing, Supply Chain, CMC technical development, and pharmaceutical regulations (required).
- Demonstrated planning and project management skills for large, complex pharmaceutical programs.
- PMP certification (plus).
- 10+ years industry experience; 5+ years program management experience.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership.
- Strong communication, organization, analytical, presentation, and people skills.
- Experience in global, multi-cultural environments.
- Proven ability to resolve conflict across cross-functional teams and technical experts.
- Ability to understand technical aspects of complex systems and guide technical discussions during critical problem solving.
