Role: Director of People at Formation Bio, leading operational excellence, strategic people programs, and organizational partnerships. Responsibilities: drive AI-native HR operations, ensure compliance, optimize workflows, and manage vendor relationships; design and scale compensation, benefits, and performance programs; serve as a strategic partner to leaders, advising on organizational health and talent development. Requirements: 8+ years in people operations, HR leadership, or total rewards; proven experience applying AI and automation in HR processes; strong operational, program management, and cross-functional partnership skills; experience in high-growth, tech-driven environments; ability to make complex decisions with high accountability. Preferred: experience in biotech, pharma, or regulated industries; expertise in compensation frameworks and equity programs. High-Value: biotech/pharma industry familiarity; strategic HR program design; AI-native operations focus; work in fast-paced, high-growth settings; hybrid work in NYC, Boston, Research Triangle, or SF area. Reporting: to SVP, Head of People.
