Operations
Responsibilities:
- Lead the process to design patient access programs aligned to brand objectives, patient needs, patient services strategy, and commercial goals.
- Oversee existing access programs, including vendor management, business rules, KPIs, and success factors to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Marketing, Patient Services, and Government Affairs to create tactics supporting business-critical strategies; develop a vision and measures of success for new insurance opportunities.
- Collaborate with Market Access and the Head of Patient Services to understand payer access strategies for commercial and governmental insurances; assess impacts of payer environment changes on existing programs or the need for new programs (eligibility, support levels, program scope).
- Monitor the US healthcare environment to understand impacts on patients; support successful implementation, training, and day-to-day execution with Patient Services Operational Leaders.
- Design patient services programs in partnership with Legal and Compliance to ensure full compliance.
- Proactively monitor and communicate information/results to cross-functional partners to enable informed business decisions.
- Manage related projects and provide guidance to internal and external partners.
- Establish processes for collecting and sharing best practices, including management of vendor QBRs.
- Oversee project financials and performance monitoring; ensure transparency and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5–8 years of pharmaceutical (or related) industry experience, including at least 5 years supporting a comprehensive patient services program.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical reimbursement and financial assistance experience.
- Experience designing and overseeing direct patient access programs, including vendor and budgetary management.
- Proven leadership; strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication; documented internal/external relationship management.
- Analytical and reporting experience required.
- Strategic development and business planning/resource development experience for patient support program processes; management experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant US legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements; strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in rare diseases/specialty medicines highly desirable.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation:
- Pay range: $225,000–$235,000 (commensurate with experience).
