How you will make an impact
- Lead the design, optimization, and execution of the company’s patient access ecosystem across co-pay programs, patient services (hub), field reimbursement, and pharmacy coordination within the US market.
- Own the end-to-end patient journey from prescription through therapy initiation and persistence; build and lead a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) organization.
- Oversee third-party patient services vendors and establish business rules for a consistent, efficient, patient-centric access experience.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Improve access from prescription through first fill, persistent refill, and recapture by strengthening coordination across specialty pharmacies, patient services, and field reimbursement.
- Eliminate friction in prior authorization, therapy initiation, and refill continuity to reduce abandonment and improve adherence.
- Design and operationalize consistent patient access pathways and business rules across channels.
- Build and scale the FRM model to enhance provider engagement, accelerate access resolution, and support prior authorization effectiveness, first fill, and therapy continuation.
- Lead strategic design, execution, performance, and continuous improvement of patient services programs (co-pay assistance and hub services).
- Own end-to-end management of third-party vendors, including SLAs, performance monitoring, and vendor transitions.
- Ensure compliance of patient services and reimbursement activities with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies (partner with Legal/Compliance).
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA (or equivalent) preferred; 12–15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech market access, patient services, reimbursement, or related experience.
- Significant co-pay and hub model experience; proven third-party vendor and SLA management.
- Strong business sense/budget management; cross-functional leadership; analytical/problem-solving skills.
