Director of Patient Marketing β Responsibilities:
- Lead development of a robust multi-channel patient media strategy.
- Design and optimize branded and unbranded initiatives that educate and support patients throughout their journey.
- Drive patient engagement via multi-channel marketing and high-impact creative messaging.
- Lead strategy/execution of a multi-channel media plan (TV, digital, social); align ads, videos, and website content to patient preferences and patterns.
- Develop, deploy, and continuously optimize unbranded and branded communications/media assets.
- Establish goals and critical metrics to measure effectiveness; focus on continuous learning and data-driven optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (franchise marketing, healthcare provider/payer marketing, patient services, IT, sales, commercial effectiveness, advocacy, compliance, medical/legal/regulatory).
- Engage agency partners; manage scopes of work and ensure timely execution.
- Build business cases, support patient marketing budget management, and track resources.
- Collaborate on scenario-based investment recommendations supporting brand goals and imperatives.
Qualifications/Skills:
- BS in marketing (or similar).
- 10 years pharmaceutical experience in brand management/marketing in biotech/pharma.
- Patient marketing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven multi-channel media planning/execution; website strategy experience.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to turn data into actions.
- Excellent written/verbal/visual communication and storytelling.
- Strategy + execution; strong marketing fundamentals.
- Experience managing external partners (consultants/agencies).
Work/Travel/Pay:
- Hybrid role (Bridgewater, NJ); remote most of the time; occasional in-person collaboration.
- Occasional domestic travel up to 15%.
- Pay range: $177,000β$242,000 annual.
