Director, Patient Access Liaison - East

Role: Director of Patient Access Liaisons, a field-based leadership role overseeing a team supporting reimbursement, access strategies, and patient navigation for a novel in vivo CRISPR therapy (lonvo-z). Objectives include ensuring site readiness, resolving access barriers, educating providers on coverage, and translating strategy into operational workflows. Responsibilities encompass team management, cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, compliance oversight, tracking payer trends, and developing field tools and metrics. The role also involves supporting site activation, training, and maintaining high standards of field execution. Qualifications: Bachelor's in life sciences, healthcare, or related field; 10+ years in biopharma or healthcare reimbursement, with 3–5+ years leading reimbursement or access teams; prior experience in U.S. launch environments and cell/gene therapy is essential. Preferred skills include deep knowledge of payer dynamics, complex reimbursement pathways, and rare disease or HAE experience. The candidate must have strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with a patient-centric approach and ability to travel frequently. High-value specifics include expertise in infusion-based therapies, cell and gene therapy, and regulatory compliance in a highly specialized therapeutic area at a post-approval or launch stage. The position reports to the Senior Director and involves frequent cross-functional interaction across market access, medical, and commercial teams. Work setup is field-based with travel requirements.
