Director, Organizational Learning & Development

Role: Director of Organizational Learning & Development at a biopharma company, responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide training strategies to ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and organizational growth across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial functions. Responsibilities include developing onboarding, technical, leadership, and soft-skills training programs; collaborating with SMEs to create role-specific content; and integrating innovative methodologies like e-learning and virtual reality. The role also involves designing GxP compliance training (GMP, GLP, GCP), managing LMS systems, overseeing external vendors, and supporting audits and inspections. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Education, or related field; 8+ years in training and development with 3–5 years in leadership within biotech, pharma, or medical devices; strong knowledge of GxP regulations and FDA/EMA compliance; experience with LMS platforms such as Veeva Vault or Cornerstone; excellent instructional and communication skills. Preferred: Master's or PhD; certifications in instructional design or quality systems; experience in GMP manufacturing; familiarity with adult learning theories and data analytics tools.
