Summary:
Director of Innovation (Innovative Models & External Partnerships) within Market Access Intelligence & Innovation.
Primary ownership for identifying, shaping, and incubating innovative access and pricing models before pilot execution, with near-term focus on PBM disruption.

Responsibilities:
- Build and manage the innovation pipeline (intake, triage, prioritization; translate external signals into value hypotheses, pilot-ready concepts, and leadership recommendations).
- Lead innovation concept development and incubation (define feasibility, success criteria, risks, outcomes, and stakeholder alignment before pilot handoff).
- Activate and manage external partnerships (evaluate/engage stakeholders such as transparent PBMs, benefit consultants, alternative reimbursement players, and non-traditional partners to shape and accelerate pilot readiness).
- Connect intelligence to innovation (partner to convert market signals into actionable opportunities from signal detection through executive decisions).
- Enable portfolio governance and decision-making (inputs for strategic-theme alignment, stakeholder discussions, quarterly steering committee reviews; apply evaluation frameworks and measure success).
- Partner across functions (Access Strategy, Pricing, GPGA, Legal, Digital/AI, senior leadership to shape concepts and define business requirements).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MPH/MS/PharmD or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years in pharma/healthcare in Market Access, Pricing, Commercialization, or related areas.
- Strong experience in innovative access/pricing models, business model strategy, or external partnerships.
- Deep understanding of market access ecosystem (PBMs, payer behavior, policy trends).
- Proven ability to translate external signals into actionable strategic opportunities.
- Experience with external partners/vendors.
- Strong strategic thinking for ambiguous challenges; excellent executive communication; collaborative and proactive.
