Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor activity, and potential new business segments to identify growth opportunities; inform forecast assumptions for financial models.
- Early Commercial Strategy: Formulate early commercial strategy and approach for select pipeline programs; develop target product profiles; serve as commercial voice for the asset in key governance forums.
- Program Guidance: Provide commercial input and strategic guidance to program teams to inform key business decisions on early-stage clinical programs.
- Cross-Functional Market Assessments: Collaborate cross-functionally to conduct rigorous market assessments on key disease areas to inform preclinical strategic planning.
- Reimbursement & Differentiation: Understand and communicate requirements for reimbursement and differentiation to ensure successful global commercialization of pipeline assets.
- Disease Understanding & KOL Insights: Identify gaps in internal understanding of target diseases; create plans to address gaps through KOL engagement and primary market research.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree in Life Sciences (or equivalent) required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 yearsโ experience in market analytics, new product planning, and global brand marketing.
- Ability to navigate multiple disease areas; CNS, Cardiovascular, Hematology, or Metabolic therapeutic area experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally and influencing program development teams.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical development path and ability to identify operational choices impacting commercialization.
- Ability to synthesize insights from multiple data sources (primary and secondary research/data) into well-supported recommendations.
- Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
- Aptitude for understanding scientific concepts related to R&D.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Compensation / Benefits (as stated)
- U.S. pay range: $208,300.00 - $281,800.00; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive (e.g., equity).
