Responsibilities:
- Build a foundational neuroimmunology portfolio and develop the pipeline commercial strategy for neuroimmunology assets (internal products and complementary external programs).
- Shape commercial plans for prioritized assets across development pipeline governance stages.
- Develop disease area strategies in partnership with Corporate Business & Strategy Office.
- Develop early brand plans and integrated value propositions for leading assets.
- Build forecasts with the pipeline finance group to support the long-range plan.
- Partner with clinical development, asset management, and on-market commercial teams to ensure strategies are supported across stakeholders.
- Lead the cross-functional Brand Strategy Team (BST) with Market Access, Medical Affairs, R&D, HEOR, Finance, and Market Research to drive commercial planning and forecasting deliverables.
- Lead early commercialization functions: early brand plan, integrated value proposition, forecasting/value metrics, lifecycle planning, and global market assessments.
- Represent assets in AST, IEST, VAT, LRST, PPDST; lead BST development of early commercialization deliverables.
- Design and shape clinical/medical evidence generation plans with R&D and Medical Affairs.
- Participate in cross-functional governance (e.g., go to Phase 2/3; CFG).
- Partner with PCS Insights and APEX teams to develop/validate value propositions via HCP/patient engagement and research.
- Engage KOLs (1:1, ad boards/roundtables) to inform development and commercialization.
- Develop stakeholder presentations (senior executives and cross-functional leadership).
- Lead Touch Points with Global Affiliates to inform launch-market insights and global commercialization recommendations.
- Partner on evaluation of complementary opportunities and indications; assess positioning/co-positioning for lead assets or competitive compounds.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; MBA or PhD preferred.
- 5β10+ years pharmaceutical marketing experience (on-market or pipeline product development strongly preferred).
- Neuroscience/neuroimmunology experience strongly preferred.
- Superior verbal/written communication and storytelling; experience communicating with C-Suite/executive leadership.
- Detailed understanding of pharmaceutical product development process.
- Experience creating product/indication development plans with R&D.
- Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead without authority; track record of ascending responsibility.
- Strong team leadership; inclusive, transparent; high planning/coordination/project management; diplomatic problem-solving.
