National Account Director (NAD), Payers

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage select national and sub-national payer and assigned accounts (health insurers, PBMs, Medicare, state Medicaid, large IDNs, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy and medical departments and key payer decision makers/influencers.
- Influence payer policies, guidelines, and contracts to support timely coverage, access, and reimbursement.
- Develop account-specific plans and assist in resolving access and reimbursement issues.
- Partner with the MSL team to support payer understanding of drug candidates and approved products.
- Partner with Patient Services to support the patient journey and resolve coverage issues.
- Assist Regional Sales with pull- or sell-through strategies based on payer coverage.
- Represent Tonix at industry events (e.g., AMCP, Asembia, and other relevant conferences).
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, compliance, and ethical conduct.

Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
- Advanced degree (Masterโ€™s, Ph.D., or PharmD) preferred.
- 10+ years of biotech/pharma experience with payer understanding and experience.
- 505b2 product and migraine experience.
- Subject matter expertise in Market Access, including pharmacy and medical benefits design; Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare (FFS and Managed).
- Government/Federal experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:
- Self-starter; ability to develop account plans, meet deadlines, and achieve launch goals.
- Strong negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
- Strategic problem-solving and ability to execute account strategies.
- Business acumen; ability to drive productive contract negotiations.
- Cross-functional collaboration to address access barriers.
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Up to 75% travel may be required.
