Position Summary
The Director - Molecular Science Liaisons will establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs). MSLs communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and other interested parties) through face-to-face customer discussions, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in oncology.
Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-day team management of the MSL team.
- Provide recommendations on national staffing plans.
- Create and coordinate training/enablement to ensure up-to-date education on company technology.
- Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
- Ensure MSLs can: share product feedback with Caris to support patient care and research; conduct medical/scientific education to increase market awareness; present clinical data at physician sites and/or conferences; attend POA/commercial pitch meetings and onsite relationship meetings; promote CMI to physician sites across the U.S.; support/present at molecular tumor boards; read scientific/technical literature for customer engagement; assist with special projects; support field training for contracted speakers (Speakerβs Bureau) and serve as field trainer; conduct regional speaking engagements (roundtables, grand rounds, tumor boards); attend regional/national tradeshows and sales meetings to present relevant data; provide commercial input/review marketing materials for current molecular landscape.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D. in biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent training/experience).
- 3+ years of management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceuticals or commercial lab space.
- Prior field experience with customers and/or sales organization.
- Creative problem solving; sound judgment; self-motivation; strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet for business use.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service focus.

- Valid driverβs license and willingness to travel regularly.
