Position Summary:
The Director - Molecular Science Liaisons will establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs). MSLs communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and others), primarily through face-to-face discussions with customers including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in oncology.

Job Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the MSL team
- Recommend national staffing plans
- Create and coordinate training and enablement to keep MSLs current on company technology
- Track MSL activity and customer interactions
- Ensure MSLs: act as information/feedback conduit between medical community and Caris; conduct medical/scientific education; present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences; attend POA/commercial pitch meetings and onsite relationship meetings; promote CMI across the U.S.; support/present at molecular tumor boards; read/understand scientific and technical literature for customer engagement; assist with special projects; assist in training speakers (Caris Speaker’s Bureau); serve as field trainer for assigned region; lead regional speaking engagements; attend tradeshows and sales meetings; provide commercial input/review of marketing materials reflecting the molecular landscape.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or M.D. in biological science (pharmacology, cancer biology, molecular/cellular biology) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years management experience

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Commercial experience (pharma/commercial lab)
- Prior field experience with customers and/or sales
- Creative problem-solving; independent judgment
- Self-motivated drive; strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite and business Internet use
- Drive for results (service, quality, continuous improvement)
- Strong verbal and written communication; teamwork; customer service focus

Other:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
