Position Summary
The Director, Molecular Science Liaisons establishes and leads a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs). MSLs communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and others) through face-to-face discussions, including with oncology Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the MSL team
- Recommend national staffing plans
- Create and coordinate training/enablement to keep MSLs current on company technology
- Track MSL activity and customer interactions
- Serve as a conduit between the medical community and Caris on products, medical needs, research developments, clinical trials, and therapeutic approaches
- Provide medical/scientific education to support field organization and increase presence/market awareness
- Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences (regionally or nationally)
- Attend POA/commercial pitch meetings and other relationship meetings
- Promote CMI to physician sites across the U.S.
- Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings
- Read scientific/technical literature for customer engagement
- Support related duties and special projects
- Assist field training for contracted speakers (Caris Speaker’s Bureau) and function as a field trainer
- Participate in regional/national speaking engagements and select tradeshows; contribute commercial input/review of marketing materials

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Commercial experience (pharma/commercial lab) and prior field experience (plus)
- Creative problem-solving; independent judgment
- Self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills; self-starter in deadline-driven environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
- Drive for results (service, quality, continuous improvement)
- Strong verbal/written communication; teamwork; customer service focus

Required Training
- Job-specific, safety, and compliance training assigned based on role functions

Other
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
- Pre-employment screening including background check, drug screening, credit check (as applicable), and reference verification
