Position Summary
The Director - Molecular Science Liaisons will establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs). MSLs communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients, including physicians, scientists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). This communication primarily involves face-to-face discussions.

Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the MSL team.
- Provide recommendations on national staffing plans.
- Create and coordinate training and enablement plans to keep MSLs current on company technology.
- Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
- Ensure MSLs can:
- Serve as a conduit between the medical community and Caris regarding products and medical needs (patient care, research, clinical trials, therapeutic approaches).
- Provide medical/scientific education and field support to increase market awareness.
- Present clinical data and educational materials at physician sites and/or conferences.
- Attend POA/Commercial pitch meetings and onsite relationship meetings.
- Promote CMI to physician sites across the United States.
- Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings.
- Read/understand scientific and technical literature for customer engagement.
- Support related duties and special projects; assist with field training for contracted speakers (Speaker’s Bureau).
- Function as a regional field trainer and deliver regional speaking engagements (roundtables, grand rounds, tumor boards).
- Attend regional/national tradeshows and sales meetings to present relevant data.
- Provide commercial input/review of marketing materials.

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D. in biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceuticals/commercial lab environment.
- Prior customer/sales organization field experience.
- Creative problem-solving; independent judgment.
- Self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
- Drive for results (service, quality, continuous improvement).
- Proficient verbal/written communication; teamwork; customer-service focus.

Other
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
