Position Summary
- Establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) who communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and others), primarily via face-to-face interactions with oncology KOLs.
Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the MSL team.
- Recommend national staffing plans.
- Create and coordinate MSL training and enablement plans to ensure up-to-date technology education.
- Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
- Serve as an information/feedback conduit between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences to support products, patient care needs, research, clinical trial activities, and therapeutic approaches.
- Conduct medical/scientific education for the field organization to increase presence and market awareness.
- Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences (regionally or nationally).
- Attend POA/commercial pitch meetings and onsite relationship meetings.
- Promote CMI to physician sites across the United States.
- Support/present at molecular tumor board meetings.
- Stay current on scientific/technical literature for customer engagement.
- Assist with related duties/special projects; support speaker bureau field training.
- Act as a field trainer for an assigned region.
- Deliver regional speaking engagements; attend select regional/national tradeshows and sales meetings.
- Provide commercial input/review of marketing materials.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D. in biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent training/experience).
- 3+ years of management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior commercial experience (e.g., pharmaceuticals/commercial lab) and/or field customer/sales experience.
- Creative problem-solving; independence and sound judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills; self-starter in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
Required Training / Other
- Job-specific safety and compliance training as assigned.
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to travel regularly.
