Position Summary
- The Director - Molecular Science Liaisons will establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs). MSLs communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and others) through primarily face-to-face customer discussions, including oncology Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-day team management of the MSL team.
- Recommend national staffing plans.
- Create and coordinate training and enablement to ensure up-to-date education on company technology.
- Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
- Serve as an information/feedback conduit between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences to support patient care, research, clinical trials, and therapeutic approaches.
- Conduct medical and scientific education to the field organization to increase presence and market awareness.
- Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences (regionally or nationally) with Sales, POA, and Marketing.
- Attend POA/Commercial pitch meetings and onsite relationship meetings.
- Promote CMI to physician sites across the U.S.
- Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings.
- Read scientific/technical literature for customer engagement.
- Assist with related duties/special projects; support field training for contracted speakers (Speaker’s Bureau) and serve as field trainer.
- Participate in speaking engagements, select/national tradeshows, and sales meetings; provide commercial input/review of marketing materials.

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of management experience.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Prior commercial experience (pharmaceuticals or commercial lab) and/or prior field/sales organization experience.
- Creative problem-solving and sound business judgment.
- Self-motivation, drive, strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
- Drive for results (service, quality, continuous improvement), strong communication, teamwork, and customer service focus.

- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
- Complete job-specific, safety, and compliance training as assigned.
