Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and manage a 6-person MSL team (player-coach), providing strategic direction and day-to-day operational management.
- Develop and implement scientific interaction/stakeholder engagement plans for on-market and pipeline products; analyze clinical and market trends to support business objectives.
- Ensure robust stakeholder engagement aligned to Brand strategy/medical objectives; deliver high-quality EE/HCP scientific engagements coordinated with other in-field teams.
- Participate in Brand Team Meetings; ensure proper use of technology (CRM, virtual engagement tools, P2P platforms) and monitor/report MSL metrics.
- Coach MSLs on key activities (engagement planning, scientific content/storytelling, study engagement, medical information responses, data capture/reporting, coordination).
- Manage team performance, workload/resource planning, recruitment, onboarding, and internal stakeholder training (e.g., sales training).
- Drive field readiness, including OR certification maintenance (OR/surgical suite focus), tool management, and vendor contracting/logistics.
- Handle financial/administrative duties for the MSL team (e.g., expense approvals) while maintaining territory KOL/HCP engagement.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in health sciences or clinical discipline required; preferred Doctorate (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD).
- 5+ years clinical/scientific/research/pharma experience; at least 2 years as an MSL.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration; prior line management strongly preferred; player-coach/working manager experience advantageous.
- Excellent communication/presentation; ability to manage multiple projects; experience resolving personnel issues.
- Travel ~50–60%.
- Preferred: OR/surgical suite experience and familiarity with credentialing/OR certification processes; ability to manage operational/admin responsibilities alongside field engagement.
