Position Overview
Director, Medical Performance Measurement (Medical Affairs) — steward and operationalize a disciplined Medical Operating System to translate strategy into sustained, measurable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement structured operating cadence (monthly + quarterly) across Therapeutic Areas (TAs).
- Moderate quarterly Medical Impact Performance execution reviews.
- Socialize standardized execution KPIs aligned to enterprise growth priorities.
- Surface risks, execution gaps, and performance variances with clarity and objectivity.
- Recommend and implement course corrections and structural improvements.
- Ensure consistency of execution discipline across all TAs.
- Design, implement, and continuously maintain the enterprise Medical Performance Dashboard.
- Define leading/lagging indicators across growth portfolio execution, digital adoption, and capability maturity.
- Maintain standing “Operating Excellence” agenda time at the MLT level.
- Conduct rigorous external benchmarking of Medical operating models; codify and institutionalize best practices.
- Partner with Finance to quantify execution ROI and demonstrate Medical value creation.
Qualifications & Experience
- BA/BS or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of performance execution experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale transformation or operating model design.
- Proven track record building performance management systems, dashboards, and institutional operating cadence.
- Experience driving digital adoption and large-scale behavioral change.
- Structured thinker with operational rigor and enterprise-wide perspective.
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Marketing, or Cross-Functional Strategy.
- Familiarity with OKRs, Balanced Scorecard, or similar frameworks.
Compensation Overview (if applicable)
- Princeton, NJ, US: $190,060–$230,308; may include additional incentive cash/stock opportunities (eligibility-based). Final pay based on experience.
