Responsibilities:
- Lead development of US Oncology medical and scientific communication plans, tactics, medical educational materials, and external communication tools (including digital innovation and customized US scientific medical training), aligned with US Medical Affairs leads and Oncology Field Medical Leadership.
- Provide a strong US voice on the Global Integrated Medical Content Team (GIMCT) and help ensure global scientific content accountability.
- Develop, execute, and regularly update the US Medical Integrated Scientific Communication Plan (ISCP), ensuring the scientific narrative is relevant to the US market.
- Ensure impactful scientific engagement content (all formats) for field and internal medical teams.
- Lead development and delivery of omni-channel customer experience and associated medical communications across channels.
- Develop KPIs and use data/analytics to optimize the customer experience.
- Develop and maintain the medical curriculum and scientific training plan for internal and field medical teams (including new hires).
- Support the USMA (TA) congress plan with overall medical communication planning and activities.
- Apply medical governance aligned with relevant company policies.
- Collaborate with medical experts and cross-functional internal teams (Global Medical, Field Medical, Clinical Development, Commercial).

Work arrangement: Hybrid; work from home and on-site as needed. Some travel required.

Basic Qualifications:
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or advanced science degree (MS, MPH).
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical or medical communications.
- 1+ year oncology/hematology experience.
- Medical Affairs experience.
- Experience developing slide decks and other scientific content.
- Lead development/implementation of medical education for external audiences and internal training materials/tools.
- Experience with medical education meetings and digital/social media delivery.
- Ability to lead/work in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret/analyze/organize scientific data.
- Strong communication/presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years oncology/hematology; scientific communications experience.
- Digital communication tool/platform experience.
- Publication planning (abstracts/manuscripts) and publication guideline knowledge.
- Ability to work with new technology and teach others; simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Negotiation/influence skills; strategic leadership in a matrix environment.
