Responsibilities:
- Develop, launch, and maintain capabilities, processes, and systems for the medical affairs team; assess gaps and opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
- Lead congress/conference strategy for medical affairs, including medical booths, medical content, and educational symposiums.
- Manage the Medical Capabilities Team; ensure medical information/MLR and medical content deliverables and personnel development.
- Provide medical leadership for MLR review escalations; ensure an efficient medical review process that meets business needs.
- Lead onboarding for Medical Affairs new team members.
- Lead Alliance Management with global commercial partners, aligning medical activities and joint meetings.
- Manage medical affairs team meeting agendas and budget; ensure efficient resource use and OPEX within approved amounts.
- Serve as point of contact for commercial operational and IT systems leads, including integration of AI into medical affairs workstreams.
- Support medical affairs team culture and strategic direction.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or significant medical-field experience in lieu of an advanced degree.
- 8+ years in biotech and/or pharma medical roles of increasing responsibility; medical information experience strongly preferred.
- Oncology medical capabilities/medical operations experience desired.
- People management of matrix/capabilities teams desired.
