Position Summary
- Design and execute world-class marketing training to equip marketers for the future of healthcare marketing.
- Transform marketer capabilities, ways of working, and organizational effectiveness by advancing modern marketing practices, accelerating AI adoption, and building skills for a digital, data-driven, customer-centric environment.
- Lead a comprehensive capability-building strategy and partner with Commercial, Brand, Medical/Health Impact, Business Technology Solutions, Digital Lab+, Analytics & Performance Excellence, Learning & Development, and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Marketing Competency Strategy: Develop long-term marketing competencies; create competency frameworks, learning pathways, and capability roadmaps; translate emerging trends into initiatives; define a future-state competency model for digital/AI; guide readiness for evolving operating models; advise Commercial leadership.
- AI & Future Ways of Working: Integrate AI into competency programs; build AI literacy (generative AI, predictive analytics, automation); foster experimentation and continuous learning.
- Marketing Excellence & Learning Leadership: Design/evolve training curriculum; oversee onboarding and advanced programs; ensure modern, engaging, measurable adult-learning-aligned experiences; create career-stage learning journeys; measure learning effectiveness via metrics, feedback, adoption, and business outcomes.
- Organizational Transformation & Change Leadership: Drive adoption of new frameworks/tools/operating models; remove barriers and accelerate transformation; develop communication strategies for sustained behavior change.
- Team Leadership: Lead/coach team; mentoring, succession planning, talent development; set objectives and career pathways; manage resources; build inclusive environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across Commercial, Brand, MHI, Regulatory/Legal/OEC, BTS/APEX, Digital Lab, and L&D; influence senior leaders without authority; collaborate internationally to scale best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Learning & Development, or related.
- 12+ years in marketing, capability development, organizational effectiveness, or related.
- Experience leading teams and developing talent.
- Proven success designing and implementing enterprise-wide capability-building strategies.
- Deep understanding of customer-centric omnichannel marketing and digital transformation.
- Strong executive presence; ability to influence in a matrixed organization.
- Experience leading large-scale change and transformation.
Preferred:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience applying AI/emerging technologies to marketing workflows and commercial operations.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare experience.
- Experience partnering globally across complex stakeholder networks.
