Responsibilities:
- Build marketing operations from the ground up for pre-launch and launch activities.
- Develop standardized workflows for campaign planning, review, approval, execution, and measurement.
- Integrate and optimize marketing technologies and CRM systems to drive performance.
- Conduct process audits and support compliance discussions.
- Oversee print content lifecycle, including fulfillment systems, documentation, and training materials.
- Establish annual marketing calendars and integrated launch execution plans; ensure flawless commercial promotional execution.
- Lead the promotional review process (MLR/PMRC), chair the Promotional Medical Review Committee (PMRC), and implement MLR/PMRC SOPs, governance, workflows, escalation pathways, and operating procedures.
- Manage PMRC calendars, submission queues, reviewer workflows, agendas, documentation, and approvals.
- Lead MLR/PMRC training and onboarding for marketing teams, reviewers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and track MLR/PMRC KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage agencies/vendors (AOR, digital, production/print, promotional fulfillment, martech), including scopes of work, budgets, timelines, and performance.
- Manage marketing operating budget, forecasts, purchase orders, contracts, and invoice approvals; drive efficiencies and cost savings.
- Ensure promotional materials comply with FDA regulations and company policies; maintain documentation and drive inspection readiness.
- Lead commercial congress planning: own congress calendar, timelines, deadlines, and execution needs.
- Support marketing technology roadmap and omnichannel deployment; ensure content versioning, tracking, and retirement.
- Manage marketing launch project plans and governance; monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in a relevant discipline.
- 8+ years in commercial biopharma/biotech with 4+ years in marketing operations, commercial operations, or launch management.
- Experience supporting at least one oncology product launch (preferred).
- Strong understanding of promotional review processes (MLR/PMRC) and promotional compliance/governance/risk management.
- Experience managing agencies and external vendors.
- Experience building commercial organization infrastructure and processes.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
