Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Key Account Manager (KAM) team; set strategic priorities, annual goals, and KPIs.
- Optimize national account coverage, territory alignment, and resource deployment; coach KAMs on health-system mapping, cross-department engagement, workflow influence, and protocol adoption.
- Develop and oversee Corcept’s national healthcare system engagement strategy; coordinate execution across IDNs, ACOs, academic centers, and multi-hospital systems.
- Oversee disease awareness and system education initiatives; support institutional presentations, conferences, and medical society/events; tailor approaches to address institutional structures and barriers.
- Lead national strategy to influence system workflows (screening pathways, EMR flags, order sets, decision-support tools, referral coordination); reinforce after protocol adoption; route appropriate opportunities to Medical Affairs or Clinical Development.
- Ensure KAMs capture and synthesize insights for actionable leadership recommendations.
- Standardize account planning, CRM documentation, and communications; manage budget, training, talent development, and hiring; ensure policy/regulatory/institutional adherence.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Understanding of large healthcare system dynamics (quality, informatics, operations, multidisciplinary practice).
- Experience implementing system-level workflows/clinical pathways.
- Ability to lead cross-functional field teams; strong insight synthesis and strategic planning.
- Travel: 50–60%.

Preferred Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s preferred; advanced degree in business/healthcare/science.
- 10–15+ years pharma/biotech/healthcare system experience; 5+ years leading institutional/market access/key account teams.
- Experience in endocrinology, cardiometabolic, rare disease, or specialty markets; healthcare system contracting/market access/quality improvement.

Compensation:
- Pay range: $191,100–$253,000.
