Responsibilities:
- Evaluate site capabilities, patient volume, and infrastructure; create structured readiness reports.
- Serve as the commercial liaison for site contracting and activation.
- Own account-level performance vs. activation timelines and operational milestones; escalate barriers with solutions.
- Act as the primary commercial/operational point of contact for assigned ATCs.
- Maintain living account profiles and strategic account plans; update quarterly and align to brand strategy.
- Engage senior institutional leadership on the value and operational integration of therapies.
- Serve as commercial anchor of the account-level field pod, aligning Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Market Access, and Marketing.
- Drive appropriate, label-compliant therapy utilization; meet/exceed demand targets.
- Analyze account performance to identify utilization trends, referral gaps, and pathway optimization opportunities.
- Represent Beam at national/regional conferences (including thought leader engagement and session reporting).
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA/PharmD/MPH or scientific graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience; 5+ years in cell/gene therapy or complex specialty hematology/oncology preferred.
- Ability/willingness to travel up to 50% for site visits, conferences, and on-site activities (e.g., staff training, operational planning).
- Deep hematology and sickle cell disease knowledge.
- Comprehensive understanding of the cell/gene therapy landscape.
- Credible engagement with academic specialists, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Track record managing complex academic medical centers or integrated health systems; navigate institutional hierarchies and long sales cycles.
- Documented specialty biopharma/rare disease/cell-gene therapy sales achievement against demand, activation, and utilization targets.
- Experience developing and executing insight-driven account plans.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional field teams without direct authority.
- Demonstrated success building executive relationships (C-suite, chairs, program directors); strong executive presence and tailored communication.
- High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.
