Director HTA Statistics & RWE Methods

Role: Director HTA Statistics & RWE Methods within Johnson & Johnson's Global Commercial Strategy, leading data generation strategies to support innovative medicines across all therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include developing advanced study designs, ensuring methodological rigor aligned with Payer/HTA requirements, and overseeing real-world evidence (RWE) and indirect treatment comparison analyses. The role involves reviewing external case studies, contributing to governance through the RWE Methods Review Board, and building internal capabilities in methodologies, coding, and analytics, including AI/ML. Qualifications: Postgraduate degree (MSc, PhD) in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or Health Economics; 8+ years in pharma, biotech, or consulting; deep expertise in clinical trial design, secondary data analysis, and statistical programming (SAS, R). Preferred: PhD, PharmD, or MD. High-value: experience in market access, HTA evidence generation, causal inference, surrogate validation, and proficiency with claims, EMR, or registry data. The position supports product lifecycle from early development to post-launch, with strategic emphasis on regulatory standards and payer expectations.
