Director, HR Business Partner - US Oncology Commercial

Role: Strategic HR Business Partner supporting US Oncology Commercial franchises (Lung, Breast, I/O, G2, Heme). Objectives: enable growth, launch success, leadership effectiveness, and strong commercial execution through tailored HR strategies. Responsibilities: partner with franchise leaders on organization design, workforce planning, talent development, performance management, culture, change management, and employee relations; serve as trusted advisor and enable data-driven decision making; support talent and succession planning; lead or influence HR initiatives linked to portfolio growth and launches; ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in HR or related field; 8+ years in HR within complex, multinational, preferably regulated (pharma/biotech) environments; proven experience in organizational change, talent management, employee relations, and stakeholder engagement; strong commercial acumen. Preferred: postgraduate HR qualification or professional certifications; experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, high-growth settings, or transformation projects; experience supporting cross-functional teams including Medical, Market Access, Legal. High-value specifics: focus on oncology portfolios, commercial and launch-driven settings, working with senior leadership, operating in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. Stakeholders: internal HR team, franchise leadership, cross-functional partners, external HR and legal advisors. Location: Gaithersburg, MD, with an emphasis on strategic and hands-on HR partnership for a dynamic oncology portfolio.
