Director, HR Business Partner

Role: HR Director, strategic partner supporting organizational effectiveness and talent initiatives within biopharma, specifically in oncology-focused biotech or pharma. Responsibilities: serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, change management, and employee experience; drive organizational design, team effectiveness, and talent management processes; support leadership development, employee relations, and data-driven HR insights; partner across HR functions to implement practical solutions aligned with business goals. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years HR experience with strong support for leaders in complex, high-growth, oncology-focused organizations; deep knowledge of talent management, organizational effectiveness, and change management. Preferred: advanced HR or related degree; 10+ years experience; experience supporting senior leaders and contributing to HR initiatives with executive visibility; demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, team structuring, and scaling organizational models. High-Value: oncology industry expertise; focus on talent, organizational design, and scaling within biotech or pharmaceutical development, including clinical phases, regulatory considerations, and cross-functional collaboration. Work Setup: primarily in San Francisco with at least 3 days/week in-office.
