Key Responsibilities
- Own the Hepatology/Immunology Strategic Engagement vision and plans; align HCP engagement objectives with brand strategy, commercial goals, and medical priorities (with Medical Affairs as needed).
- Lead integrated HCP engagement strategies using congresses, peer-to-peer (P2P), and external expert engagements across the U.S. Specialty business.
- Lead, manage, and develop Strategic Engagement Marketing Managers and Hepatology/Immunology Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs); provide coaching, performance management, and talent development.
- Manage congress planning and budgeting; secure funding, make trade-offs by congress tier and business priority, and improve efficiency over time.
- Oversee P2P strategy/execution (speaker bureau management, training, execution, sales force support, and peer-to-peer education); maintain budget compliance and flex based on priorities.
- Set strategy for external expert engagement; guide compliant advisory boards/consulting and executive interactions with commercial leadership.
- Ensure external expert insights are elicited, documented, and synthesized (clinical, competitive, strategic) using quantitative/qualitative data.
- Use data/analytics and customer/expert insights to measure performance and drive test-and-learn innovation.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand marketing and senior leadership.
- Provide enterprise leadership and cross-functional coordination (Brand, Medical, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, field leadership) and ensure geographic alignment.
- Ensure full compliance with policies/SOPs/governance; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, financial tracking, and vendor/agency relationships; ensure strong project/program management.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare marketing with HCP engagement (congresses and/or P2P).
- Experience with Promotional Review Team (PRT) process; ability to coach.
- Leadership of customer-facing teams (field sales/TLL/medical/clinical) with Hepatology/Immunology/GI experience in at least one function.
- Cross-functional experience (Brand, Medical, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory).
- Experience managing agencies/vendors/complex budgets; advanced project management.
- Data-driven strategy and ability to communicate insights to executives.
- Ability to travel (including nights/weekends).

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree.
- Deep Hepatology/Immunology marketplace experience.
- P2P speaker bureau program leadership.
- Strong commitment to ethics, compliance, and governance.
