Responsibilities:
- Achieve targeted formulary and coverage outcomes within prioritized government access accounts in a timely and financially responsible manner.
- Develop and execute data-driven, strategically aligned account plans supporting enterprise access objectives.
- Serve as primary strategic point of contact for Medicaid Fee-for-Service customers; engage key decision-makers and influencers.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Policy, Advocacy, HEOR, Reimbursement, Marketing, and Sales partners to advance access goals.
- Maintain knowledge of account-level policies, formulary review processes, competitive dynamics, decision timelines, and state priorities impacting access.
- Proactively identify access opportunities/risks using market dynamics, policy changes, and performance data.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate contracted product performance and access trends.
- Manage Medicaid PBA and pooling group relationships (with or without contract solutions).
- Translate customer/market insights into actionable strategies that accelerate access and patient impact.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of customer-facing, field-based Market Access experience.
- Demonstrated experience engaging Medicaid Fee-for-Service customers (established relationships in FFS states).
- Proven experience supporting at least one pharmaceutical product launch with market access accountability.
- Deep understanding of review/approval/reimbursement/formulary decision-making.
- Experience managing access across medical and pharmacy benefits preferred.
- Serious mental illness experience required; schizophrenia experience strongly preferred.
